Explore our fully refurbished adult and children’s bikes. Every bike has been carefully repaired where needed, thoroughly cleaned, and properly checked over. Buying refurbished is no just eco-friendly — it’s a brilliant way to get a great bike at a good price.

Hire a bike, go-kart, quad and other equipment from our Seafront Hire Hub in Girvan and enjoy our amazing coast and hills! We have options for everyone, including e-bikes and even a dog trailer!

All bikes from the Bike Hub are available on a first come first served basis.

Accessible Equipment for Hire

Hire a beach walker, beach wheelchair and other accessible equipment from our Seafront Hire Hub in Girvan and enjoy our amazing coast and hills! We have options for everyone, including an electric side-by-side tandem, frame runners and a hoist to help with transition.

Bike Service/Repair

We have a full service Bike Repair Shop at our Community Hub in Girvan!

We provide a FREE Dr. Bike inspection along with affordable service and repairs for all types of bikes, to keep you riding smoothly. Whether it's inflating tyres, fixing punctures, adjusting brakes, or tuning gears, we’ve got you covered. It’s all part of supporting safer, easier active travel for everyone.

If you have a bike that is not being used please consider donating it to Biosphere Bikes.

Through our circular economy model, donated bikes from local residents, council recycling centers, and community pickups are carefully assessed, refurbished, and reused.

Biosphere Bikes is a community-led charity in Girvan, making cycling accessible, inclusive, and sustainable. Your donation helps us:
