At Biosphere Bikes, we believe every bike deserves a second chance. Through our circular economy model, donated bikes—whether from individuals, pickups, or our local council recycling center—are assessed, refurbished, and reused. If a bike is beyond repair, we strip it for spare parts, supporting local groups, young people, and schools in learning valuable bike maintenance skills. Refurbished bikes are either sold or donated, while any non-reusable materials, like tires and metal, are responsibly recycled. This sustainable process keeps bikes on the road, reduces waste, and empowers our community.
