Biosphere Bikes is delighted to bring a community bike library to Girvan. The bike library currently consists of access to E-bikes and a variety of conventional bikes. This bike library will be for people who permanently reside in the KA26 post code. Initially the bike library will cater for adult cyclists, 16yrs and over. (18yrs for E-bikes) You will be able to have a loan bike for a 3 month period with no ongoing maintenance costs. If the bike fails we will fix or replace it with another one. After 3 months you return the bike and can apply again after a clear month has past. This is to allow as many people as possible to try the bikes and get the benefit.
Booking
Bikes will be available for pick from Biosphere Bikes shop at 121a Henrietta Street, Girvan, KA26 0AE on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday between 9am and 2pm. On the booking form below please select the time slot for pick-up. If another time or day is required please contact via email biospherebikes@gmail.com to arrange pickup.

Conditions prior to bike loan application
You must be 16yrs or over (18yrs for E-bikes)
You must live in the KA26 postcode
You must provide photo identification (if not, a photo will be taken and kept until the bike is returned)
You must provide proof of address (last 3 months)
You must have somewhere inside, garage or house, to securely store the bike
